In June 2024, TopVentus launched a new automated production line for manufacturing fire and smoke dampers. The investment volume amounted to $2 million.
New equipment • CNC metal cutting line (laser + plasma) • Automatic bending machine • Robotic welding cell • Powder coating line • Fire resistance and airtightness test bench
Results • Production capacity increased 2.5 times — up to 5,000 valves per month • Manufacturing time for a standard batch was reduced from 20 to 10 days • Dimensional accuracy improved from ±2 mm to ±0.5 mm • Defect rate decreased from 3% to 0.5% • Valves up to 2500×2500 mm can now be manufactured
Quality control On the new line, each batch of valves undergoes: 1. Visual inspection of welded joints 2. Dimensional measurement (100% of products) 3. Leak tightness test (sampling 5% of the batch) 4. Fusible link activation test (1 product per batch) 5. Actuator operation check (100% of products with actuator)
Each batch is accompanied by a test report and a product passport.
Future Plans In 2025, the launch of the second phase of the line is planned — for the production of large-sized valves for smoke exhaust systems in subways and tunnels. This will increase production capacity to 8,000 valves per month and reduce lead times for non-standard sizes.
TopVentus continues to invest in production and quality to offer customers the best price/quality ratio on the ventilation equipment market.
