Описание
Normally closed smoke exhaust valve is designed for smoke-control ventilation systems in buildings. In normal mode it is closed; in case of fire, upon a signal from fire automation, it is opened by an electric actuator to remove smoke. A fusible link lock at 280°C disconnects the actuator and closes the valve when the limiting temperature is reached. Cabinet-type housing made of galvanized steel 2.0 mm, high-temperature version. Fire resistance E 600 (600°C for 60 minutes).

Will the smoke withstand 280°C?
Yes. Execution E 600 per EN 1366-2: withstands 600°C for 60 minutes without loss of tightness. Fusible link lock 280°C — this is protection against actuator overheating; at 280°C the damper closes automatically. This is a requirement of all fire safety regulations.
How to synchronize with the fire alarm system?
The valve has a terminal box with contacts: power supply 230V/24V, opening signal, closing signal, feedback (limit switches). It connects to any fire alarm control panel (FACP). We attach the wiring diagram in Russian.
Can it be opened manually when the power is disconnected?
Yes. The actuator has a manual open/close handle. In case of fire and power outage, duty personnel can open the valve manually. There is also a version with a battery-powered actuator (up to 72 hours of autonomous operation).
How does it differ from a standard fire damper rated at 70°C?
Valve 70°C — normally open, installed on standard ventilation systems, CLOSES in case of fire. Valve 280°C — normally closed, installed on SMOKE EXTRACTION systems, OPENS in case of fire to remove smoke, and closes at 280°C. These are two different devices for different systems.
