Описание
Fire damper, normally open, is designed to shut off ventilation and air conditioning ductwork in the event of a fire. The fusible link activates at a temperature of 70°C, and the spring return actuator closes the blades. The housing is made of galvanized steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm, and the blades feature a graphite seal. Fire resistance rating: EI 60 (60 minutes). Certified to CCCF (China), CE (Europe), and EAC (EAEU).

Will it pass fire inspection in Kazakhstan?
Yes. The valve has EAC certificates per TR CU 004/2011 (safety of machinery and equipment) and TR CU 020/2011 (electromagnetic compatibility). These are mandatory certificates for EAEU countries (Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Russia). We attach copies of the certificates and test protocols.
How to check that the valve will actuate?
Each valve undergoes factory testing: activation at 70±2°C, closing force, and tightness. We send the protocol. On-site check: press the manual closing button — the blades must snap shut. For automatic systems — apply a 24V signal to the solenoid.
Can it be reset after activation?
Yes. After activation, the valve is not ejected. Required: 1) Allow to cool for 10 minutes. 2) Replace the fusible link (costs $2, always in stock). 3) Cock the spring by handle. The entire process takes 5 minutes. We recommend keeping spare links at 5-10% of the number of valves.
Which side should it be installed on?
The arrow on the housing indicates the direction of air flow. The damper is installed so that in the event of a fire, it blocks the spread of smoke from the adjacent zone. For supply systems — the arrow points from the fan into the room. For exhaust systems — the arrow points from the room toward the fan.
